The song "Mine" is about the very real prospect of falling in love, but in your rear-view mirror, seeing all of the times you see love fail. I think that falling in love isn't as easy as it seems, when you've seen love crash and burn so many times in your life. I have a tendency to run from love sometimes, and I think it's because of that. You know, you see all the times that everybody seems to say goodbye - all the time, that sometimes you lose hope that it's worth fighting for. But I have to have this blind hope and this blind faith in the back of my mind that if you met the right person, it would be worth it, to fight for love and to really work through the problems that you would encounter along the way, so I think I'll always believe that.
